After gaining an initial experience in my IT career with Lloyds of London, Philips of Eindhoven, then Rank Xerox UK, in 1990 I formed a fledgeling dealership marketing laser printers and software in the UK. We grew the business to $2 million in the first year before I decided to embark on a long term career in marketing software. I joined a small London based startup software company in 1993 as a part owner where we grew the new business to a $50 million company. Then in 2006 I participated in the sale of the same company to a large American corporation and for five years integrated our business into their business in North America as Vice President. There I built partnerships and relationships with the largest corporations in North America including Xerox Corporation, Pitney Bowes, Oce Printing systems and DST Printing – the largest transactional printer in North America. In 2011 I moved away from my 20 year long engagement in software marketing and took ownership of a small winery in Summerland. We launched a full on marketing campaign and pioneered with a large supermarket chain in BC the ‘wine in aisle’ initiative that mirrored the European model.
From 2022 I completed my real estate license and embarked on a career where I focussed on commercial real estate in the wine sector as part of a new team under the Royal LePage Kelowna Brokerage.
